Let's try being a promoter

Hello! How're you going?

At our previous class we discussed the questionnaires and our results. I was a great chance to share our results because I needed to know that I’m not the one in my group with such problems.

And then the teacher gave us another an interesting task. Our task was to imagine us as participants of the conference of teachers. Each of us had a product(there were a number of games and activities which help to improve speaking skills) and we were supposed to sell it to the audience (other teachers, who were my groupmates). The main idea was to tell others that this particular product is very important for public speaking and for English classes in particular. And we also were meant to buy three other products for free (the ones we liked the most).

So my product was a speaking activity "Personality box".

I’m sure that it is an important one and everyone definitely needs it in their classes.

I guess it was okay, I used gestures, I wasn’t too fast or too slow and my voice was load enough for everyone to hear me, but on the other hand I was reading and also made some mistakes and used a lot of ‘hmm’/ ‘ermh’.

For the next day our teacher asked us to improve our presentations and tell about this item one more time. And here is the video of my second performance:

Honestly, I think that this is way better, I am not that nervous, I am not reading and really enjoying the subject that I’m talking about. I guess that I became more confident and it is visible not only in my voice but also in my body and gestures that I’m using.
