The outline of my persuasive speech #2
In this post I want to change a bit the outline of my persuasive speech following the comments of my professor.
Topic: Environment
Introduction:
1. ‘The world is going to end tomorrow’. Suprised? What if this is true? Maybe not today, but someday and unfortunately, this isn’t something one can simply joke about. So can we save our planet? Have you ever thought about the reasons of thoughtless relation of people to the environment? If so how can we save it and most importantly how we can save us.
Topic: Environment

1. ‘The world is going to end tomorrow’. Suprised? What if this is true? Maybe not today, but someday and unfortunately, this isn’t something one can simply joke about. So can we save our planet? Have you ever thought about the reasons of thoughtless relation of people to the environment? If so how can we save it and most importantly how we can save us.
2. Because we don't think about future generations, they will never forget us.
a) The occurrences of natural calamities are increasing day by day which is resulting in loss of lives.
b) During the quarantine we can see some changes in the nature because humans cannot put their hands on it.
c) It is rather important to note that by saving the environment, we will be saving mankind.
d) If we do not take immediate action, we will have to face grave consequences at the hands of nature.
e) Now that all of us are staying at home we can see how nature are recovering from the damage.
3. Thesis statement: The environment plays a pivotal role in the existence and growth of all living things on earth and importantly to humankind’s daily lives. The condition of the environment is very important for the quality of life that humans lead.

a.) The impact of human activities on the environment;
b.) Water pollution;
c.) Steps to start saving our planet.

Body:
1. The abuse of the environment is a hot topic for discussion in the recent times. Several human activities and the high growth of populations are the most important factors causing harmful affects to the environment.
a) It is very important to explore the various types of pollution and all possible ways of their prevention in order to make our planet a safe place for the growth and development of all living things.
b) Humankind is filling the atmosphere with green house gasses like CO2 and other harmful emissions from industry and fossil fuel use. Hydrofluorocarbons and CFC’s from cooling found in air conditioners cause global warming.
2. The oceans are being polluted by plastic waste which causes sea life like dolphins to die from stomach problems.
a) Water pollution is one of the pivotal problems nowadays.
b) The contamination of the living environment leads to the deaths of the entire natural ecosystems.
c) We should reduce water wastage, save energy, use rechargeable batteries, reuse our old things in new ways, and throw wastes properly to its place only.
3. Steps to start saving our planet
a) What can we do to help?
b) Where to start?
c) Why do we need to think about it?
d) We need not only think about global problems but also about small ones
Conclusion:
1. “For two hundred years we've been conquering Nature. Now we're beating it to death.” Said Tom McMillan.
a) The remarkable growth of technological progress has negative impact on the ecological state of our planet.
b) The work of factories and plants and the extraction of natural resources result in serious environmental problems that call for radical actions for environmental rehabilitation and protection.
2. Darryl Cherney once said “I'm not an environmentalist. I'm an Earth warrior.”
a) We can help in personal ways and governments should help nationwide and globally.
b) Planting a trillion trees across the planet is one of the best and cheapest ways of taking 25 percent of CO2 out of the atmosphere and helping tackle the crisis of global warming.By CAMOMILE
